Prime Minister Harper sure has made a
mistake, continuing to be the big bully on parliament hill. Missing an opportunity to be a great politician, a statesman that rose to the occasion. However despite the fact that Harper can't resist the desire to slap around the opposition no matter the size of crisis before him, the real debate has shifted. That debate has become the economy and how to handle it. Just because Harper is a bully doesn't mean that the opposition has it right either. The new coalition government appears to want to spend and spend fast and then wait and see what happens. For me it feels a lot like
the tortoise and the hare. Harper has clouded the water and he should pay for it, but the Canadian public should not pay for it. In what could have been a great moment our government has turned into a schoolyard.
